It’s not safe to leave Autumn alone with small cute things.

I actually work with kids for a day job. Well, not all of them are kids. Basically I work with individuals who suffer from autism. It’s a fun and rewarding job at times, but sometimes it can try the hell out of your patience.

Sorry, never really babysitted, but I did help tutor freshmen at my High School on English and History.

Draining as it may be, I found it rewarding. I also never really yelled that much before.

Even as an autistic person, I sometimes find autistic people (like my kids) challenging to be with. I'm not sure that's any different because we're autistic though... I mean, I know that in some ways we think alike and so certain conversations are easier, but everybody has their differences. I hear people talking about others trying their patience a lot in general, irrespective of autism or whatever else might make them different. At work, in the store, hell, walking down the street.

Personally I mostly work at trying to understand other people and that helps me not sweat the small stuff so much.
